   Hi Snooky! I just wanted to be the first to congratulate you for being nominated for the best supporting actress category. I haven’t seen that movie yet, but seen the trailer on youtube, but definitely looking forward on seeing it once it comes out on dvd. Anyway, glad your mom is in high spirit, i hope she gets well soon. Regards and God bless!

   Hi Snooky! I do hope you win it, pero kahit hindi, its a huge honor (again) that they recognized your craft/talent and hard word on the movie. Sinong date mo sa awards night? Sana ako nalang hehehehe just let me know, naka handa na ang tuxedo ko hehehe just kidding. But then I would be bored with the long program they always have during those kind of awards night.

   Hi Allan! Thank you very much - I sure hope so too, pero siempre, it all depends on God’s will, for now. Like I said, magagaling naman ang mga fellow-nominees ko - and very deserving to begin with. I’m sorry, but I don’t think my hubby would approve you being my escort - although as of now he’s not really in the mood of coming along and escorting me kasi nga he hates the cameras, limelight or attention. You’re absolutely right, programs like these are long and boring, especially if you’re used to going to them yearly. But of course, the delight of getting the award changes all that.

   About the PayPal account, my hubby and I went to BDO yesterday to complain about it, they said they don’t know why … so we’re now in limbo. For now, what I’m usually doing is asking all my prospective clients to email me what they want, how many, where to deliver so I could email back how much to transfer to my account with BDO. This is starting to be another frustrating exercise I tell you.

   Hi Cooks! I still think that your account is to be handled by PayPal since the problem (i think) is at their end and not your BDO account. My nephew has a webpage design business and his PayPal account was up and running in 2 days without any problem. Siguro dahil hindi international account, but rather a U.S. account. Having said that, it shouldn’t be a problem getting the account fixed and running. When time permit, i will ask them myself on how international PayPal account is set up. I will email you what information is given to me once i find out.

   Thank Allan, you’re really a good pal! I have tried to contact my web designer, have replied to the email of one account officer of PayPal (from Singapore), but no solutions yet. Hope you’ll be the answer to my prayers. I’ll be coming out with a new collection of designer T-Shirts as well. Thanks for all the help!

   Hi Snooky! Good morning (dito)! Heading to my second job in 2 hours. I have a part time job on Saturdays only. Anyway, I’m glad they had responded to your inquiry about your PayPal set up. I have not had a chances to check my email yet. But thanks for including me on what they have encounter, it’s always good to be in the loop so to speak just incase i do encounter that when i start a business there as well.

   I would like to see your designer t-shirts when ever you get that started. I do hope to get your PayPal set up soon.

    Thanks Yumna! Sam feels better now thank you very much. We watch a movie (Aliens Vs. Monsters) almost as a whole family (Me, my hubby, his son Ralph, his daughter Hannah, my baby Sam & my baby Sachi + mommy Den-Den), but my hubby’s daughter Patricia had to attend her grad-ball at Manila Pen. We had a hefty meal at the Red Crabs before that. Sam didn’t eat much - but she’s alright. They’re actually going to have a sleepover with my hubby’s daughters on Wednesday - after Patricia’s debut.

    Haaay naku Emeldific, nakakapagod! Muntik na nga ako hindi makapunta kasi natakot ako dahil I had blood in my stool before I left my house. Buti na lang false alarm - may period na pala ako. Well, c’est la vie! The party was really and absolutely great. Yung nga lang, my hubby was not around - only Richard. He’s not really up to meeting the press kasi eh. He’s a very solid private citizen, far from the limelights of showbiz, and wouldn’t want to get involve with it. Love you!

    Wow naman Zeth, talagang nakakakilig naman itong comment mo na ito! I know God will always be there for all of us and the movies, well, not that I don’t want to act anymore (nami-miss ko na rin nga eh), but surely I don’t really mind having one movie a month or two as long as wholesome. Ayoko kasi yung mga movies lately, either it’s violet or sexy, alam mo naman na hindi tayo pang-ganun, especially now. God bless you and your family my dear!

    Tell you one secret Lyn - pero obvious naman so I guess it’s OK lang, my hubby got me an I-Phone & I could visit my blogs in my website (much easier to answer or reply to compared to emailing) that’s why I could easily answer faster here than email. Besides, I think yahoo is having problems lately - ang super bagal!

    About the perfumes, if you’re ordering in bulk, I could always ask the courier company to send them to you - just let me know which ones and how many. Can’t you find someone who would like to franchise our perfumes there in Florida? I really would like to be there again ! You too, take care and God bless always!

    Hello Snooky, just want to congratulate you for winning best supporting actress at the Star Awards for movies, as they say you can’t put a damn good actress down. Nice to see you on stage along Maricel, it reminded me of the Underage days, hope you’ll have more projects this year and maybe another film with marya , i adore you both in Carlitos Siguion Reyna’s “Inagaw Mo Ang Lahat Sa Akin”, tour de force ang acting ninyong dalawa doon, as in wala akong itulak kabigin sa inyong dalawa.     Am sorry if my message came across as i don’t have faith in you. contrary to your understanding, i know you will win! your acting in paupahan was credible and was high calibre. Gloria Romero was your biggest contender but not good enough to win. I do not doubt your capacity as an actress, a very good one at that! I just saw your pix in PEP but not your hubby. Can you post it? My friend said you still look beautiful and young parang hindi ka tumatanda which I fully agree. take care and pamper yourself.

    Nakakataba naman Yumna! Hindi lang ng puso, pero pati ng taba - hihihihi! Seriously now, para kasing “bad-girl” ang role ko dun sa “Paupahan” eh, kaya medio I don’t know kung magugustuhan nyo lahat - I’m glad naman na maganda ang reading mo sa perfomance ko kapatid.

    About my hubby, baka makita mo siya sa June 21 sa ABS-CBN Ch2 (or Jun 22 sa TFC - check mo na lang pls), 10:00pm - showing ng Star Awards. Frankly, he’s a very private person, doesn’t want to be caught on camera, dahil sabi nya hindi daw siya showbiz material. Even jokes na “Regal-Shocker” daw siya. Let me know if you like my loooong speech (daw).

    Cookie, your acting was impressive; I liked it dahil bagay sa iyo ang role kahit “bad-girl”pa siya, as you put it. I think it’s great playing such role kasi mas challenging, basta naka focus ang istorya sa isang ginaganapan na ganito. I’m looking forward to seeing your new movies soon.

    Dear Christina,

    I’m glad you liked it … well, these are the roles I’d like to play these days. Kasi pagod na rin ako naman sa mga old-fashioned twee-tums ng mga mainstream. “Bad-girl” has more meaty roles in my opinion and you’re right, they’re more challenging.

    Watch out for both Bente & Dukot. They’ll come out soon. Bente will start playing on July 3. I’m pretty sure Dukot will follow.

    Yes Mark, the movie BENTE is showing sa July 8, 2009.

    The issue between me & Direk Joel will continue to haunt both of us until magsawa ang mga writers sa kakasulat tungkol sa amin. Basta ako, I’ll go on with my life … kahit ano pa ang sabihin nila!

    It’s OK naman na magtanong, libre lang naman yun, sabi nga ng hubby ko eh. As my good friend Fr. Marco Brioschi once said, “In the end of it all, we will all die.” May mga diva na artista & me mga diva ding director. Kahit na anong galing ipakita nila … para sa akin, hindi pa rin nila kayang pantayan ang tatay ko (Lino Brocka) sa pelicula. Nananabunot yon, naninigaw and all, pero doon mismo sa shooting scene at hindi sa harap ng maraming tao. Dios naman ang nakaka-alam ng lahat eh, bakit pa ako mahihimutok, sa akin, hindi naman sila ang nagpapakain sa mga anak ko, sino ba sila?

    Hay naku Mark … if you must know, I just lost 6 lbs in just a week. I still have like 20 lbs to go, kaya wag kang mag-alala. In 2~3 weeks baka OK na ako sa weight na gusto nyo! But remember, MJ died because of too much slimming! Ayoko matulad doon no?

    Dear Mark,

    Sorry naging ever so busy ako sa trabaho, and of course sa Face Book - where my world is in now. But of course, if I ever find time, binibisita ko naman itong website ko. Kasa na ulit ako sa Sagrado Pamilya ni direk Joel Lamangan. 2nd shooting namin (dapat 3rd kaso packed-up yung last time) this coming Tuesday and another one on Sunday. Mark, I really don’t know what you’re trying to show in your picture at Face Book but seriously, it’s not really for me to say. At my age, I don’t think I’m still entitled to see those kind of pictures, unless I’m looking for a young stud - which I am not since happy na ako sa hubby ko. Medio nagalit nga siya sayo dahil sabi nya bakit kailangan pa siyang magpadala ng ganun na klase na pictures, conservative kasi siya masyado. Anyway, if you want me to look for a manager for you, let me know. I’ll refer you to mine.

    Mark, I’ll be honest with you, you’re continuous annoyance about my diet is slowly getting to my nerves because this is my body to begin with and I would love to enjoy my life, for whatever is left of it, for my self. Not for you, nor any one else, can you please understand that?

    Anyway, for your information, I am now down to 135 lbs from 147 last 1 1/2 months ago. But I want to do it in my own pacing, now any asshole nagging me how to put my weight down to the maximum na halos ikamatay ko na. Pacencia ka na ha, nakakapikon ka na kasi talaga eh!

Projects these days are slow because of the global recession, plus of course, alam mo na, we are not that young ang saleable anymore, I usually protray different roles these days than the usual.     Sorry sis, hindi ako masyado nakaka-attend sa Victory even sa Fort. Masyadong hectic and scheds dahil may mga shooting na halos parang kang batong nakatunganga waiting for your turn.
