Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, Dasmarinas Village, Makati, Tuesday, January 24, 2009: H.E. Abdel Jamoudi, Charges d’affairs (acting Ambassador) to the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq, asked my hubby to organize one meeting with his fellow-industry leaders in one sit-down meeting at his embassy while an official and high-level 15-man delegation from Iraq (headed by no less than the Minister of Housing and Construction), in order to reopen the labor market of Iraq for Filipinos. According to Her Excellency the Minister, Iraq never closed its doors to Filipinos. It was the Philippine government who closed its doors to Iraq despite the many perseverance of its Asian neighbors who benefitted from its current economic upturn. Here are my photos during my participation during said meeting:

Hi Carmen, my hubby never wanted to have his picture taken anywhere with me - especially for public consumption. He doesn’t even want his name to be mentioned to begin with. Like I said earlier, he’s a very private person and would like to stay that way. He’s a nice man, kind-hearted and loving. But he is not into showbiz and would not ever want to be - yet!
