As you know very well (para namang hindi open book ang buhay ko sa inyo - joke!), I’m still in the brink of recovering from my sad past and of course, a big big thanks to the Almighty, I seem to be living a normal life now, thanks to people who believed (and still do) in me during my period of recovery (in many aspects).
Haba ng intro no? Anyway, I know I am suppose to have something like an on-line payment system and all, but my hubby cautioned me into jumping on it right away until we really can understand how the whole thing goes (i.e., on-line purchase & payment system). It all started when BDO (Banco de Oro) told us that by using their payment system (credit card payment), I need to put up an escrow deposit of minimum US$12,500 (+/-) as my protection. “Protection from what?”, I asked. I was told from fraudulent transactions. So my hubby told them (being present during our meeting), “What protection are you talking about? While you are securing your banking system from such transactions, you are depriving an emerging entrepreneur from purchasing raw materials for her business by holding US$12,500 in escrow just to protect your own interest.” That is not including the US$400 set-up fee. Saan ka naman nakakita na pera mo na, gagamitin pa nila para lang pangsangga ng mga lokong tao - di ba sila ang me pera, sila dapat ang gumasta nun? I agree with my hubby and really do not see the wisdom behind this banking rule - despite their provocation that it is for my business protection.
From then on, we decided to ask our interested buyers to kindly email na lang muna their business intents to snookyserna001@yahoo.com.ph - so we may reply to them accordingly. We have already contracted with a courier company, in order to deliver them to your door step when needed - especially in bulk purchases. So if you fancy any of the fashion jewelries, just email me so I could give you the bank account to make the transfer, the amount needed to purchase the same (including shipping charges) - or if you’re near our office, for pick-up, puede rin naman.
As to the perfumes, you may find them at SM Manila or SM San Lazaro (both close to the food court). The big crystal designer bottles are sold at 399 pesos each, and the smaller version is sold at 150 pesos each. There are other lines of cologne & perfumery products equally sold there. Ara Mina, Maui Taylor and the rest of my colleages in the movie industry have their own designer colognes and perfumes as well. Of course, I’d appreciate if you buy some of mine.

hi ms snooky…. i love your items, beautiful. i just wanted to give my 2 cents worth because i also do online business and on’t believe or be succumbed to those bank payment system… it sucks. instead i urge you to use SMART money or GCASH payments - no not a poster girl for those 2 mobile payments but truly it has been easier with these 2. since i am an ebay seller and most ebay sellers do use smart and gcash. another way to go about it is paypal or just direct bank deposits. hope this info has been useful. salamat and god bless. may your business flourish including those of struggling women entrepreneurs like me

Hi Roseanne, no we do not have any branch in Iloilo - would you like to be one? But if you ask me, I’d rather that you take the franchise or distributorship of the Fragrance of the Stars! It’s more glamomous and an “in” thing. The fashion jewelries are more for the A or B class. If you think that would sell there, why not? I tried PayPal but I think my webdesigner’s so busy to fix the bugs in my website … oh well that’s another story. Due to the global economic crisis, self-expansion is not the way to go these days.
