This is the last straw! Can you imagine not having any decent sleep for the past three (3) consecutive (and uninterrupted) night? I tried to tell my hubby if we could instead go home the next day (Sunday), but to no success. He’s got some clients coming from Jordan to conduct a whole-weeks personal interview, I just have to go and get to it. So, off I dressed to the best of my ability:
and voila! A nice cool dress I bought in Malaysia. Ate Beng came with her two (2) most trusted allies (co-workers in-fact), for us to take our pre-departure breakfast at the lobby:
I had to complain about the Asst. Head Waiter (and Indian-Malay) who hit my knee while moving our chair (boy, was it painful!) - my hubby came (however late) to the rescue and also talked to the manager, and good enough, we were compensated with a free-breakfast (for me and my hubby). My hubby said, “Sige, sabihin mo sa kabila ka naman tamaan ng silya para makapagbalot naman tayo!” - he! he! No way!
To the airport we went, more than an hour’s driver (I slept all the way - obvious ba, wala po tayong tulog no?) and met the office neighbors of Ate Beng:
two (2) Indians who are nice enough to carry our luggages towards the check-in counter (para namang ang bibigat ng dala namin). Of course, just like Juliet said to Romeo, ” … parting is such sweet sorrow” …
… as we entered a gate, enroute to the immigration counter. Down we went through an escalator …
my hubby dashing ahead of me as I trail behind, patiently taking shots … in every which way he can:
… while I try posing in one beautiful area before the immigration counter
until I got my exit stamp … asking my hubby to take another shot … this time with the immigration officer allowing us to take the picture alongside with him
in the same token, immediately following the immigration counter, are numerous glass-cased artifacts of Malasian culture - pretty much closer to our brothers in Mindanao:
a royal dress such as this
. A cruising speed brisk-walk towards the tube (Gate 4), another walk-rail to to a bit of a horseplay:
or a pose a’la Eva Gardner
enough horse-play, time to get serious and run!
The airport has started paging our names (here we go again!) hope we’re not the last passengers to board (but then again, we are)!
A simple meal of fried noodle (my hubby got a french toast) was served by another set of friendly and hospitable crew:
… not getting satisfied, they opted to pose for a picture
or two
.
Two great guys who patiently took our orders of drinks, good and what have you. By the way, starting today (Feb. 7, 2009) all in-flight Duty Free items bought are at 10% discount! I pampered myself with a nice pair of Carolina Herrera shades
and wore it until my arrival at Manila International Airport. I bought my hubby a Bulgari perfume and two (2) boxes of cigarette patches while bought me a BCBG designer watch.
Immediately after disembarking the plane a quick-shot inside the tube:
and another pose
if you please!
Enroute to our immigration counter,
I noticed a warning sign about an outbreak we have as we pass through this camera
when a nice man in a doctor’s gown explained to me how things are:
. We were met by Willy who whisked us through the immigration formalities (thanks to Ferdie!)
while we walked straight towards the carousel and collect our luggages
.

Zeth!
I know I’ve already replied to one of your blogs, sorry, para lang hindi confusing … so I’m answering this one here! I’m not sure if you have watched “Booking” - with Emilio Garcia & Anita Linda - it’s my first indie film for this year 2009. Sorry I have to be honest, I’m not really fond of that film kasi nga I find it too sexy (although wholesome and role ko dun), instead of an art film. There are offers here and there, pero busy kasi tayo ng konti sa business … but don’t get me wrong. I still love my art, but I’d rather choose my roles and the movies. I’m not trying to be a “hard-to-get” movie star, kaya lang alam mo naman ang mga lumalabas at kumikitang movies lately - kung walang patayan, me hubaran. Parang I’m way off those thing already. Besides, kahit naman during my time, hindi ko naman kailangan ipakita ang every single part of my body para lang bumenta ang film, di ba?
Oh well, let’s see and pray our producers would look more into the art than in their pocket.

Dear Lineth,
God is so good to us, mahirap lang minsan maintindihan what He has always instore for each and every one of us. Ako nga eh, there are times I wanted to give up, pero with the grace of God, heto pa rin ako, laban! Bakit ba, me 2 akong dalagang pinalalaki … then with my new hubby, his 3 kids are so beautiful, gentle and kind, I just cannot afford to give up. God will give all .. that’s what I always say. Hope everyone gets this.

Hi Suzette!
Ikaw naman, sino naman ako para hindi mag-reply sayo? Please visit the new features my peopl have made for me in my website. Nandun din yung baong pictures ni Baby Samantha’s first prom night. Hope you like them.
I’ll try to see if I could come up with one picture with my family and signature on it. Ang hirap kasi, sobrang busy ang sched. Like this one, I had to reply from the car enroute to my next appointment - an interested franchisee of my SPA & perfumes. Anyway, I’ll do my best (or best efforts ha?) … anyway, this website has a lot of my pictures that you can download naman.
Ket me also check about the DVD you were asking about. Please email me exactly which scent of perfume you wish me to send you and exactly where (the full address & contact number) - send it to my email (snookyserna@yahoo.com.ph) so I could reply back the actual quote. Pacencia na, ang bagal talaga ng PayPal eh!

Suzette My Dear,
Tama ka, ipon muna. You know, ang mahal ng mga airline tickets ngayon no? Kahit na off-season, ang mamahal pa rin! My hubby was complaining one time we went to Malaysia di ba? Sabi niya he surely missed the days when tickets to Malaysia cost less than US$200/pax. Last time kami nagbiyahe, US$1,200 kaming dalawa! Wala pang hotel! Haay naku Suzette, kung hindi tayo magtitipid ang magiipon these days, we will really be eaten by this global economic crisis! I was told, it’s better to acquire as much cash rather than assets these days.

Dear Suzette,
I think absolutely no one is spared from this world recession, I heard some movie stars are really scraping the barrel these days. Buti na lang ang iba - may negosyo - ang iba naman siempre alam mo na. 15-hours is indeed a very long flight! Don’t forget to excercise your legs and knees para hindi mag-knumb yan. Alam mo naman sa age natin, we cannot afford to be less careful. Give my kisses to your hubby too! Konting tiis lang siguro - malalampasan din natin ito.
Always,
